The annual “Walk the Art” exhibition returns with artwork from 15 Peel District School Board (PDSB) schools. Students responded to the theme of “communication”. The Creative Campus Galleries and Sheridan College were delighted to host the remarkable collection of artwork featured in Communication: Seen and Heard.

“Visual Art can serve as a powerful platform for social justice, a place to confront oppression, and spotlight the perspectives of those who have been silenced or marginalized. The process of creating can bring to the forefront issues or thoughts that you care about. You can change the dialogue.

You have a voice, a way to tell a story. Whether the story is your own or your opinion about something you deeply care about, creating art provides an opportunity to communicate your thoughts and feelings. What do you have to say? What do you want the world to know? How do you want to be seen and heard?”
