Collective: Sheridan Faculty and Staff Exhibition

Exhibition: Nov 10 – Dec 12, 2025 & Jan 5 – Feb 20, 2026
Reception: Nov 27, 6-8pm

Creative Campus Gallery, Hazel McCallion Campus

A collection of porcelain figurines arranged in a mountainous display, showcasing various characters and scenes, representing themes of memory and identity.

The Creative Campus Gallery serves as a living laboratory for cross-disciplinary exploration, fostering dialogue and creative exchange within Sheridan and the broader community. Central to its mission is the recognition and celebration of innovative work emerging from our faculties, departments, and research centres

While the Gallery often features students and visiting artists, Collective turns inward to highlight Sheridan’s faculty and staff. This includes artists, makers, designers, and collaborative teams who not only contribute to the college’s academic and operational life, but also maintain active studio practices or engage in distinctive creative pursuits beyond campus. The exhibited works range from craft and historically grounded materials to multimedia installations, interactive web-based projects, and works developed through coding.

These diverse practices bring real-world experience into the classroom. They inform the pedagogical approach and mentorship that define Sheridan’s unique culture of creativity. Together, Collective affirms the interconnected relationship between making, teaching, and learning.
